Our people

So, other news that came from yesterday:

  • Censusing has started - it consists of 18 people and we'll be adding more people along with more details when it suits the individual
  • Speeches and positions/responsibilities are being considered and planned: Head of Church speech to be uploaded soon
  • Citizen Sian received the first Huzzah!-based birthday card, signed by lots of other citizens, which was fun.

An apology is necessary as the next peaceful invasion wasn't discussed. We did however talk about how Law and the SNP's ideas are going to create the desired nation, along with the Church's views/impact.

It's all starting to happen.

This Saturday. A gathering.

I can't possibly reveal the location to the world of the internet, but there is a planned gathering of people who are interested. It will be revealed to a few people worthy of knowledge. I haven't actually told Scott about this idea that I just thought up, but he'll be fine with it. He's a pretty laid-back Kingster. Personally I plan to discuss the next steps of the Scott-ish National Party, more potential territory, a coat of arms and censusing, at last.

Will.
I'm thinking of changing to just Head of Church or Christian Correspondance or something.

Update

Hello all. How are you?

Everything's plodding along nicely here - slow but sure. I have been dissapointed with the amount of action on the Facebook group, so I plan to chat to anyone who at first showed interest in our, er, quest. We did have an incident on the FB group though - the Secretary of Awesome used a particular word beginning with F and ending in ck (no, it wasn't "firetruck"), which, quite frankly, disgraced the Wall of the group. Consider this a formal warning, Bonopha. No F-words where they are very likely to cause offence in Huzzah!.

We might not be the most organised or quickly developing nation - but have patience. Change is prominent, or something. And it's your duty to contribute if you want to see this fine set of persons succeed

Fear Me. Raar.

PS: Please don't take my Fear Me too seriously. Certainly trust me and be wary. But I don't promote idolatry of feer-pressure (lol!) in any way.

The land is ours!

Success!

We are currently reporting from King Scott the I's house/country, our first chosen territory. There is another drawing of the flag (see our second post) swaying above the mirror in the living room, which we have decided to name Land of the Living. Our Capital city is the city of Room - so called because it is the King's room.

We are currently working on our customs, ways and lifestyle. We are yet to decide the first chord of our National Anthem. Could be G. So far no problems: do not worry.

Greetings from your King, Archbish and Poet Lauriet (she's new)

Thanks for the motto!

Huge thank you to Maria_AMDG from http://www.christianteenforums.com/, the translator of our motto! You are now loved, and I'm sure the King will agree, you are welcome into Huzzah! any time.

Have a lovely day.

Doodle of proposed flag

I thought this [see below the news] would go quite nicely with the name and motto.

Do let me know what you think, bearing in mind this is a rough sketch!

Other News, WITH KEY-WORDS IN ITALICS!!!:
- We are thinking of using the currency of "Cheers"
- There is a High Priestess appointed, whatever one of those is. She's not religious - just wanted a title
- She's really rather short
- We have a potential Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Secretary of Awesome
- censusing will be begin on the same day as the invasion. 2 days to go!

The birth of the birth of a nation

On Saturday, 24th October 2009, the current two citizens of Huzzah! plan to peacefully invade its first land mass: a house in Haverhill, Suffolk, UK.

Today was the day we decided on a name, a proposed flag, and some other necessities for any Kingdom. Expect these details to be displayed in the near future. Please do not panic - as I've already said this will be a peaceful demonstration, with no intention to disturb or harm anyone in the Haverhill area. And let's be honest, even if we wanted to make a scene, there's not much we could do.

Expect to hear more from us soon.

Yours bloggasiously,

Archbishop Will Cleary of Huzzah!

PS: Don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in joining the Huzzahrites.
PSS: Our cool Latin motto, Patria Laudabilis, means "a country to cheer about". Apparentely it translates literally as "a praiseworthy country".
